IDUnify is a single sign-in account used by a group of community websites. This page explains what IDUnify keeps, why, and what you can do about it.

What we keep

Why

Only to sign you in and to tell a website that you are the same person each time. We do not sell your data, show ads based on it, or share it with anyone except the website you choose to sign in to. We do not tell one website which other websites you use.

Websites you sign in to

When you sign in to a website with IDUnify, that website receives your account ID, email, name and (with Google) your profile photo. What the website then does — posts, settings, history — is covered by that website's own privacy policy.

When you use Continue with IDUnify, IDUnify asks once for each network of websites and records your choice: which network, when you agreed, when you last used it, and what it receives. You can see and disconnect networks on your account page, and sign out of IDUnify on all your devices there.

Where it is stored

Accounts are stored with Google Firebase Authentication. Sign-in pages and email links run on idunify.com and auth.idunify.com. We keep your account until you ask us to delete it.

Your choices

This website

idunify.com sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The home page remembers the language you pick in your own browser. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and the home page loads a graphics library from cdnjs (Cloudflare); those services see a normal web request from your browser.
